History
Dale and Chandy met while working at a mid-sized accounting firm in Vancouver specializing in services to high net worth professional clients. Dale focused on real estate development and construction and Chandy specialized in professionals and technology. Their individual fields complemented each other's in surprising, and what turned out to be inseparable, ways. They believe that communication skills are what separates an accountant from a bean counter and that every great business needs an accountant to match. This belief and energy sets them apart from the rest.
DFA opened its doors in 2013. Since then, we've helped and advised hundreds of individuals and businesses. We have served as key advisors for numerous companies facilitating things like: negotiations for more favourable loan terms from lenders, improvements to cost control through inventory and vendor relationship management, and change to more efficient and optimized internal processes.
Dale brings a pragmatic, level-headed macro-level approach to the practice. Chandy brings the magnifying glass to the micro-oriented, deadline driven industry. From working at a mid-sized 20 person accounting firm to opening his own practice in 2013, Dale has worked with a wide variety of clients large and small for about 10 years. His parents ran numerous successful businesses in Vancouver and he was exposed to that hustle and bustle from a very young age--so explains the entrepreneurial blood coursing through his veins. Electric vehicle enthusiast. He brings his even-keeled analytical approach to everything in the day-to-day… except when he’s hangry.

Chandy Borromeo
Chandy focuses on the various facets of accounting that revolve around making day-to-day and week-to-week bookkeeping efficient and manageable by analyzing and improving systems and workflow. Prior to DFA, she has accumulated a wealth of experience at multiple mid-sized accounting firms in Vancouver, managing millions of dollars worth of client accounts. Chandy has advised entrepreneurs on best accounting practices for their business for over 10 years.

Kobe
This little guy doesn't play basketball but does share Mr. 24's drive and endless pursuit of perfection. As a puppy, Kobe got his start early working under the direct supervision of both our leaders at Dale Fan & Associates. He specializes in all things related to public relations and inspections from greeting clients at the door to inspecting fire hydrants (anything really) outside of the office. Prior to joining DFA, he was an apprentice at Michelle's Breeders Inc. Kobe's relentless positive attitude keeps the ship pointed the right way for both DFA and our clients. He brings a different unique perspective to solving issues and is a master problem solver.
